Starting the new job in 2 weeks and I'm bricking it a little.....

going to see the consultant today....12pm nop doubt my feelings will be in black and white later on.

came back from town with my back feeling okish, now a few hours after and i fear i over did it. Really getting me down. I'm off to the consultant tomorrow and i'm not going to have any painkillers before i go. That is going to be agony on the bus :( upside is he might be able to speed up my recovery or at least give me a ball park idea of time involved.
I have just looked up disc surgery and now i'm more scared still!
I don't want to be a useless crippled Dad.

day 2, morning. planning to go into town (briefly to see a friend) feeling that the back may not appreciate it it. I hope no one will read this endless spouting really. but may help with 'switching off' routine. all about routine. 15.10 today.

I may be 'faddy' and give up after a week, equally i might find it cathartic and continue forever..... (bet on the former)....
